Now that I have decided not to take my camera along in September, I'm trying to make a list of what I may carry. Going bagless isn't an option for me so if you do that, that's great but not what I'm looking for.

So what do you guys carry in your bags?

I carry a small crossbody Tumi bag. Contents: phone, credit card, ID, pen, a few Ziploc bags (for leftover treats and for my phone during water rides!), sunblock stick, lip balm. DH carries the camera :)

I used to carry my KTTW, but on the last trip, we had MBs. If the kids are collecting autographs, I also carry a retractable Sharpie.

I think that's about it??

  • Sunscreen
  • Rescue inhaler
  • Small hairbrush & elastics

On the rare occasion I bring a bag, I take chap stick, hair ties, gum, essential pills, sunglasses, my ID, credit card, and phone.

  • water (it's a camelbak)
  • bibs
  • sunscreen
  • extra pacifier
  • diapers
  • wipes
  • empty shopping bags
  • first aid kit
  • small crayon pack from one of the restaurants
  • toddler snacks
  • maybe extra clothes for very messy toddler

phone/cards are in my camera strap

I carry a medium cloth purse with a flap closure on the top. Got it from Target a few years ago, and loved it so much I bought 2 more for when this one dies!

  • Epi Pen. (Allergic to pineapple and bees. Whee!) :eek:
  • Wallet with ID/Credit Card/Insurance Cards/Cash.
  • Small sunblock.
  • Tube of glow sticks.
  • Chapstick/foundation for touch ups.
  • Pill case with ibuprofin, zantac, benadryl etc.
  • Another pill case with spare earring backs, rubber bands and safety pins.
  • Sunglasses and case.
  • I usually stick a brita bottle out the top/side of the purse.
  • Bandaids.
  • Hand sanitizer.
  • Spare socks and blister block.
  • Phone.
  • Caribeaner - you can clip shopping bags right to your purse, or hang your refillable mug off of the side if you are so inclined. Also clipped my magic band to my purse when it got too hot.

Random pics of the purse in action:

I had bottled water on this last trip, so didn't always have the brita.

As little as possible with a little luck (doesn't ever work out that way). :goodvibes. Small wallet/change purse with some cash, and a debit (ATM) or credit card, sanitizer wash or towelettes, Epi-Pen, rescue inhaler (asthma), Sharpie (autographs!), phone, a couple ziptop bags, bottle of water in outside pocket, package or two of Crystal Light, small bottle of Advil or equivalent. I have experimented with several types of bags over the years, but feel most comfortable with a small-ish cross-body bag that I can toss over a shoulder or across for security on a wild ride - with some pockets, but not so many I spend the day hunting for things!

I carry a small crossbody Coach purse with my wallet, phone, camera and chapstick.

DH carries our backpack with the following:
Water bottles
Sunscreen
Ziploc bags
Ponchos
Excedrin
Hair ties
Hand Sanitizer
Band-aids

This will be DD's first trip so added to the bag will be:
Diapers
Wipes
Maybe bibs
Change of clothes for DD
Glow sticks and other entertainment
Toddler snacks

I carry a a small cross-body Michael Kors bag. I may try a wristlet next trip, but I can't decide which is less annoying ;)

I carry:
* Wallet with cash, credit cards, ID
* iPhone
* Chap stick
* Hand lotion/sanitizer
* Advil
* Band aids
* Plans for the day (printed at home)
* Pen (never know!)
* Gum
* Sunglasses

On my past couple of trips, I have worn my camera and only taken my D&B wristlet with my phone, chapstick, CC, cash, KTTW, glasses lens wipe, and hand sanitizer.

Next trip we will be bringing our DD for the first time so I'm going to need a much bigger bag with a lot more stuff!

Thanks so much for mentioning your inhaler. We leave Saturday, and I have a packing list that I've used in the past. However, my mild (adult onset, 'exercise induced') asthma is getting slightly worse, and hot/muggy/walking is a recipe for needing it. Just made a note to tuck one in the bag I'll be using, as I'm not to the point of always making sure to have one with me but will likely need it at least once.

Yeah, all I have is my camera equipment. :lmao:

But seriously, we also pack a portable charger to juice up the phones on the go. (Bottom left, in the photo)

Cheap rain ponchos
Zip lock for wet rain ponchos
Band aids
Small wallet (with insurance card and cash)
Meds
Cell phones and charger
Camera (with battery charger and spare batteries, can't imagine not having one. I bring 3- digital SLR, small point and shoot, and small water proof camera for water rides/water parks)
Sunscreen
Hair ties
Sun glasses
Water bottle

Thanks for the mention of an inhaler. Our DS12 sometimes needs one during exercise - don't know that I would have thought to pack! Best thing I took last trip from DIS tips was zip lock bags. Great for keeping extra food, wet ponchos, etc.

iPhone
External battery
Zip lock bags for wet stuff and dry stuff
Jolly Ranchers (great for queues)
Breath mints (great for public relations)
First aid kit (someone's gonna bleed or blister)
Small note book (make note of good cm's)
Glow sticks
Poncho(s)
Water bottle w/ flavor packs
Credit card/ gift cards
A good attitude (it runs dry at about 11pm)

Now let's just hope none of us needs them! :thumbsup2

I've had asthma since I was a kid and unlike everyone else, mine didn't go away as I got older. :rolleyes: I never know what's going to set it off but humidity and excessive perfume are at the top of the list.

Almost always depends on the time of year as our summer bag looks different than our winter bag.

In the summer we have things like sunscreen, extra socks, extra t-shirts, sunglasses case, hat/visor, shower curtain liner for a stroller cover in case of rain, ponchos or garbage bags for rain, snacks

In the winter we have things like chapstick, layers of clothes we took off or will put on later, snacks, sunglasses case but only bring the rain stuff if there is rain in the forecast.
