What's in a Ronto Wrap? (And no, this isn't about the meat...)

Hi all,

My friend is really keen on trying the Ronto Wrap in Galaxy's Edge next time we head there (likely later this year, if pandemic allows). I'd like to try it myself, but the menu on the Disney website doesn't seem to actually list the individual ingredients in the food, only the components.

I was wondering if any of the slaw or the "Peppercorn Sauce" contained cucumbers, as quite a few of the copycat recipes floating around online seem to use a tzatziki base for the sauce or put cucumbers in the slaw, and neither I nor my friend can eat cucumber! If anyone's tried the wrap before, do you remember if there was any raw cucumber in it?

(Happy to move this post if this isn't the right board!)

I don't think there are cucumbers in the slaw, it didn't taste like it at all. I looked back at the pictures we have of the wraps, and it looks like just shredded cabbage and carrots like you'd find in a packaged slaw mix at the grocery store. The peppercorn sauce is kind of like a peppercorn ranch dressing.

We preferred the breakfast wrap to the regular one by far, although the regular one was fine.

To be absolutely certain, I agree with NYCgrrl - probably best to call the allergy line.

Have a fun trip and enjoy the snacks!!

I don’t recall any cucumbers but I wasn’t looking for any. Agree that if you need to know specific ingredients the allergy line is the way to go, they used to have ingredient books at the restaurants but not sure with the mobile order.

I agree with calling the allergy line to determine. That said I've had it multiple times and I've never tasted cucumber in it.

The allergy line/email (aka special diets) often gives a standard response to check with the restaurant when you arrive. They usually don't gove out specific ingredient info ahead of time since suppliers may change before your visit. Ask to see the ingredients/allergy binder when you get there and you will be able to check for cucumbers in the dish.

Thought I was the only one who couldn't eat cucumber.
