I was looking on the disneyworld.com site, checking out the hours for March. During the second week of March, MK is open til 11 pm on 5 nights, with 2 Spectros and MGM is open til 9 with 2 Fantasmics. What am I missing? Why the longer hours during that week? :confused3

March falls in Disney's 'High Season', don't remember what the official name is. Resort rates are higher and the park hours start getting longer. I've seen what used to be called E-Ticket Nights go until 1 am.

Yikes! I know I panicked when I saw that too. Figured ressies must be up during that week (when we are going too). They also added EMH hours, which kind of changed our plan for park days...we want to avoid am EMH parks! Had to change our ADR's but was able to do that without problems, luckily. I'm hoping people wait and come for Easter in April....I can hope, right? ;)

We are going 3/29-4/4 and I'm trying to figure out from the WDW website which are morning EMH and which are evening EMH. The website doesn't make this clear. How do you know?!?!?

Wow. We will be there March 12-25.

The week of March 12-17 is spring break for Orlando schools. Many Texas schools also have spring break that week, as does our school in Fort Collins Colorado which is why we will be there. We went the same week in 2004, same conditions, and it wasn't too bad. Only day we really felt the crowds was at Studios on Wed - it had rained the day before and I think that shifted some crowds. Unfortunately, it was our last park day, so hopping to a different park wasn't really an option.
