Been told for years about how quiet WDW is the week after Thanksgiving. I just called to see what was available. No Value, no moderates and Old Key West and Yacht Club are the only deluxe.

Is the park gonna be that busy or do you think there is a glitch in the reservation system? Any suggestions?

It sounds silly, but I would keep calling EVERY day. I've had stuff open up at the last minute before.

What dates are you trying? I was checking for my BIL just a couple of nights ago 11/29-12/3 and there was a lot available. Maybe if you play with different dates online you'll be able to find something.

I have found that the more days that you request the easier it is to find availability. If you look for 3 days or less everything seems full. Try for more days and see what opens up.

That's because everyone else was told the same thing. ;) Also park attendance does not necessarily reflect occupany levels at Disney resorts. The resorts can be completely sold out and that will not mean the parks will be as crowded as summer or holidays.

We went last year the weekend after Thanksgiving and through the next week. That first weekend was very busy at the parks, but by the following Monday the crowds had gone back down. Maybe that's it.

I have also found the same thing, I have Dec.3-6 booked at POR and have tried many different dates to get another couple of days in and so far no luck, I really wanted WL or POFQ. I have been trying for over a month now everyday. So either they have rooms blocked out or they are going to be full.My dates were a little flexible and still no luck.

I just canceled earlier today 11/27 - 12/2 at ASMo.

Its supposed to be quiet but the secret is getting out. Every year we notice it gets a little busier.

Not sure why you're running into problems. I hopped online today and found that FL residents get Value resorts for $64!! that week. I got Nov 30th at All Star Movies (I think that's the name) with no problem. Tried a few different combinations too. Everything was open. KEEP TRYING!!

I was also able to book FWCabins for 2/7 to 2/10 at $174. Doesn't seem like it's overcrowded at any time.

YEAP same problem here! I am freaking out :confused3

Us too - we have managed to book a last minute holiday, after getting a little extra on our house sale. We have never stayed at the Poly and i really would love to stay there for our last 2 nights 2/12 - 4/12 but phoned CRO last night and no availability anywhere except OKW. CM was very nice and tried everything, said he couldn't understand it himself. We didn't think that we would get a holiday this year, so as much as i am excited i feel really disappointed. Oh well. guess we are still at WDW !!

I have heard before that if the first day of your stay is booked solid CRO's computer will show no availability for your whole trip. Let's say you are requesting Saturday 11/25 thru Friday 12/2 and 11/25 is booked solid you will be told that there is no availability.
Try changing your days a little
try Sunday 11/26 thru Saturday 12/3 or Monday 11/27 thru Sunday 12/4.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays.

I Tried other dates (12/1-12/6) still nothing. Again the people at CRO don't understand. ??????

I read the other day that everything was booked on 12/3. Maybe if you try 11/27-12/3 or checkin in on 12/4 or 12/5.
