what's going on?

On June 26th while we were at WDW there was some sort of transportation survey going on. CMs were at every intersection with clipboards all day. CMs were also on Bridges and boat docks with clipboards. Hoses were on the roads coming into WDW counting vehicles. They were all gone the next day. The only Lines of any length during our stay were for the ALL Star Pin Event at the Monorail resorts. The parks were less crowded than we expected. Could be that the weather was keeping people away.

I think WDW periodically does different types of surveys. So I wouldn't read anything into this one.

We could hope that this is the first step in an expansion of monorails and boats, but that would be optimistic (an extreme understatement).
