What's going on with Milesource GC's?

I have held out to get the $50.00 Webcertificate I had looked just a couple weeks ago and it was there now when I am ready to cash out and it is gone. The best I can cash out for is a $15 GC for 4000. What gives?

I don't ever remember Webcertificates being available from MileSource. The used to offer Giftcertificates.com Supercertificates (long ago) and more recently GiveAnything.com GCs.

There have been numerous problems with GiveAnything (I'm still waiting for a GC that I ordered in June and I keep getting the "it's being processed/backordered/in the mail"). MileSource is in the process of replacing them. Right now, there is no way to order a giftcertificate from MileSource.

Unless you want to go through Milesource Award Center, which is a big ripoff (compared to the GiveAnything.com redemptions).

I really wish Milesource would go back to their original gc redemption partner, Giftcertificates.com. They were extremely fast in processing their orders.

Btw- I have asked Milesource some questions about this very issue. Here is their response:

"Due to technical difficulties, GiveAnything.com gift certificates are temporarily unavailable.

Milesource is committed to its customers and will try our best to keep things running smoothly during the resolution of this problem.

Please visit the Milesource Award Center where we will be happy to process your gift certificate request.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and thank you for your continued Milesource membership."

So, I emailed them again asking if they had a timeframe on "WHEN" these technical issues would be resolved. Here is their response again on this matter:

"We do not currently have a timeframe for when the certificates will become available again."

IMO, I wouldn't hold your breath.
