What's going on May 18 & 19?

Tried to get into BWV and BCV's for 2 nights May 18 & 19, Sun & Mon in a studio, and they have no rooms. On the wait list but does anyone know what is going on? Is there limited rooms because of the refurbishing stilll going on at BWV?

I finally got through my waitlist for BCV for 5/19 and 5/20. It was really tough. I did not check BWV, but I was told that BCV was pretty much all sold out for the summer starting from 5/9 or something like that.

Somehow around that time, it is busy everywhere. I am still trying to get Dolphin for these 2 nights since we are staying there for the 3 nights prior to this and they have a special offer for paying $60 plus some starwood points. But all the rooms at Swan and Dolphin are completely sold out because of 3 sold out conferences there. They told me yesterday that it is very unlikely that they will have rooms available for my dates.

Hang in there, as more BCV points are sold and declared into inventory, you may be able to get in. I had it originally reserved at WLV and just switched day by day, but it took a while.

May 19 is Victoria Day in Canada. Maybe some folks are making it into a long weekend.

I was on the wait list for a 2 bedroom for May 18 to the 24th. They called me on Friday to tell me that the rooms are available.
I have until Tuesday to call them and claim the room. I will be calling tomorrow to talk to them and probably tell them that I won't be taking it.
Of course I was nervous about being on the wait list and I contacted someone who had a 1 bedroom available at OKW during that time and just purchased that time.
so now my family is split up, I already have a 2 bedroom at BCV, so 8 of us will be there, and 4 at OKW. I am going to ask if I can trade the 1 bedroom for the 2 bedroom at BCV and pay the extra money or points needed but I doubt I can do that.
This should be fun getting everyone together when we are so far apart. Peggie
