What's for lunch?

I tried the Thomas' thin bagels and it didn't do it for me. I'm extremely open to new, healthier food options, so it pains me to admit that (in my mind) a bagel just aint a bagel unles it is fat and chewey and very, very bad for you.:laughing:

I had a sandwhich and we went geocaching with a co-worker. Unfortunately didn't find anything, but it was a good lunch anyways. Beautiful weather outside!

We just bought the everything ones. Haven't tried them yet though. They feel as soft as bread. Not very bagely but like you I'm trying new healthier options. Sometimes you just want the bad for you one though.

Noodles & Co. new Asparagus something.... no noodles, substitute broccoli.

Asparagus, Feta, Snap peas, Onions, mushrooms, broccoli in a lemon sauce. It's really good!

A salad consisting of baby spring mix, organic pea shoots, dried cherries, fresh squeezed lime juice and black pepper. I also had an Asian pear on the side. I will be having a larger early dinner so needed a light lunch.

That's the one. I'm not a true bagel lover so maybe that's the difference. I would eat one from time to time, but that's about it.

I have become more open to healthier options. I have been eating MorningStar veggie burgers (I like them a lot!) and I'm bought their bacon to try and meat crumbles.

I have the ingredients for a chocolate mousse that calls for tofu. Totally foreign to me, but I'm going to try working with it. Wish me luck!

That sounds good (except for the onions-- unless they are really cooked down). :upsidedow

PB with cheese on wheat, carrot sticks, sunchips, apple slices and cran-pom juice.

Not bad considering I've been gone a week and nobody in my house seems to know where the grocery store is.:rotfl: They ate everything and that stuff above are all the things they won't eat.

Okay, now you guys have me curious about a thread and a chicken. I'm off to find out more.
