I think I have everything else figured out - but what's a good place to eat that's also a good value for the dining plan at Hollywood studios? Seems like all the yummy, expensive places are at Epcot.

We enjoy Mama Melrose and 50s Prime Time. Actually doing both during our next trip

We love Hollywood Brown Derby - from the atmosphere to the food it's a must do for us every trip. It's pricy (2 TS credits on DDP) but it's a nice break in the middle of the day.

Brown Derby ~ share crab cake appetizer and then onto the Cobb Salad followed by grapefruit cake!!!!:cool1:

when i asked my son what restaurant he would like to return to at the studios (we've visited all except brown derby, some multiple times) he said SCI-FI!

i think the answer depends on the make-up of your group... the buffet at H&V is very kid-friendly if you have children of the "toddler/preschool" set...

Mama Melrose is my first choice at Studios...

of course you could grab a boat and take a nice ride to the boardwalk for someplace different...

For 1 TS I second 50's PT. Good, home style food. Fun atomosphere. Cool decor.

Sorry - I should have been more clear - we do have our table service picked out for Prime Time. I meant are there any good Counter Restaurants? Thanks again!

The only CS we've had was Toy Story Pizza Planet and we thought it was pretty good. We had the pizza (of course!). Though I will tell you that not all people here like it. I thought the pizza was flavorful. We ate there one of our first times on DDP.

That's really the only CS we've had there. We tend to eat TS at DHS more. In fact, sometimes the only reason we go to DHS is to make our ADR. It happens to be our least favorite park-though we still like it, and love several of the rides (ToT, RnR, for 2)

I've wanted to try Flatbread Grill, as I've read good things about it, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.

HTHs.

The ABC Commissary is consistantly awful for us, so I would skip it. I've heard good things about the Flatbread Grill, so perhaps that would be a good option. Pizza Planet is always an ok fallback as well if you're in the mood for pizza. The Studios really needs more CS worth visiting.
