I need some inspiration for dinner tonight! Give me some of your dinner ideas!!!!:wave2:

Sorry it's not inspirational, hoping DH will pick up pizza on the way home as I am still fighting my flu turned bronchitis.

If I was up to cooking, I'd probably make breakfast for dinner (pancakes or eggs). We love breakfast for dinner foods!!

Chinese take-out. The kids are at their Papa's house tonight so no cooking for me!

P.S. there was a thread here earlier today about meatloaf. Someone posted a deliciois-looking recipe for "yodel" meatloaf.

I am making boneless buffalo chicken. Having trouble coming up with a side dish.....DH is so fussy he only likes like 4 things. Maybe just some corn and biscuits or something...

Spaghetti! Always a good standby! Ground meat, fresh garlic, fresh onoins, canned tomato sauce, dried basil, bay leaf pepper, and of course red wine! Serve with loaf of crusty bread, olive oil, fresh grated parmesean and don't forget the wine!

Keep the Faith!

I don't know!

DH won't be home for dinner so I'm on my own.

Someone's idea of breakfast for dinner sounded good. Maybe I'll have eggs and toast, with a big glass of chocolate milk. Pancakes sound great, but I'm trying to be good and it's hard not to add a little extra butter on my pancakes, so I better just avoid them all together.

A tuna sandwich sounds pretty good too!

decisions, decisions ;)

Chicken Breasts cooked with rice (in cream of chicken soup). Kids of a casserole, but kind of not, since the chicken breasts cook on top of the rice, and the juices seep through. Will have seasoned green beans and a salad to go alongside.

Probably a hot dish. I have hamburger I need to use, so I will probably brown that up with some onion. Toss with mac-n-cheese, stewed tomatoes and some garlic, top with breadcrumbs, then bake for 25 minutes. Serve with garlic toast...

homemade chicken corn chowder with biscuits.....too cold for anything other than soup!!!

I've made some chicken and dumplings. :)

We just had Ellio's pizza. It was frozen, but it was still good. :D

Boneless country style ribs, herbed mashed potatoes, fresh green beans. In fact, DH is coming in now...time to eat!

I nice bowl of Kellogs Corn Flakes. :hyper:

western style spare ribs baked in home made bbq sauce wide noodles and tossed salad.

what I like to call cheater halupkis
or cabbage casserole

Shredded cabbage in tomato juice
make my halupki filling into meatball shapes & drop them into the boiling tomato juice and cook the whole thing for 3-4 hrs
Yummy.

halupki filling is ground beef, uncooked dry rice, salt, pepper, seasoned bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, & parsley
all that is kneeded together with hands and shaped into meatballs

with a 6 1/2 mo old I don't have time to cook and roll cabbage into pigs in the blanket (I used to - I'll have time again someday)

smoked pork chops, broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. Wish it would get done, I'm hungry!
