Thanks for asking for my recipe :goodvibes --I always start the Beef cooking first.
Then in a pestle+mortar bowl add crushed black peppercorns, salt, steak seasoning, garlic(that has been thru a press),chopped fresh thyme+parsley, breadcrumbs, extra virgin olive oil+honey,
mix together well+pat carefully(as the meat will be hot)to the beef joint for the remaining 20- mins of cooking time.

For the roast pots, add whole garlic cloves whilst they are roasting in the oven. For the last 15-20 mins of cooking time squash the garlic cloves until the soft puree seeps out and toss the pots in it then add the onions on top of them-which have already been softened with butter.

For the gravy i use the beef fat+juices from the tray which can go straight on to the gas jet,add the red wine+some water+simmer+then strain thru a sieve into a saucepan+reduce by half, add meat gravy granules stir+add water as you go along until the right consistency.

Hope you understood all that+i did'nt confuse you.x.

Oh what a wolly-i thought you meant the recipe for the dinner-i am sorry,i will add my crumble recipe later for you.x.

Hope someone can benefit from the other recipe.x.

YUM! Sounds lovely!

I don't know what we are having tonight, we may go to MIL and FIL which if so means it will be either roast gammon or roast turkey! I love a nice Sunday dinner!

We had roast turkey, stuffing, roast pots, carrots and green beans followed by xmas pud ;)

Home made burger and salt and pepper potato wedges :goodvibes

Ok so great idea, reading thread made me hungry.

Now feel like i'm letting the side down when I say tea tonight will be a tin of tescos cheapest ricepudding. Sweet creamy and comforting when I've got an early atart for a hectic day at work tomorrow.

Now all we need is someone to invent a way to pass food over the internet so we can share all this amazong sounding food instantly.

:teacher:

Sausage and chips in the park for us and the kids today! It was cold, but Shelby wanted a picnic!! ;) :)

We had no roast yesterday and I was ill and DH took the girls out to eat, as he doesn't cook. So today we are having Roast Gammon, Roast potaoes, carrots (some steamed, some roasted) and peas.

Something quick today as Dd7 has football after school.
Saveloy+Chips.x.
