Besides the usual before, during and after dinner drink, I need to serve some food to my family.

So what are all of you making? Thanks for any ideas I might get while reading your posts.

What's for dinner?

McDonald's.

We are moving on Friday, and the kitchen is packed. If you ever need an excuse for not cooking, put all of your dishes, pots, and pans in packing boxes! :teeth:

Grilled steak tips and fresh tuna caught today by a friend. Served with rice and some veg.

enchilada bake - easy great mix from El Rodeo or something like that - takes just like restaurant - and spanish rice- yum!

Shephards Pie nite - easy and quick and for some reason my hubby has been liking it once a week lately (when we got married he told me never!!!)

Okay, I'll be right over.

Last night we had Terriyaki chicken on the grill, rice, steamed brocolli, and orange slices. Tonight is steak, ceasar salad, and maybe some pasta on the side (the box mixes) if we're really hungry.

Chicken Quesadillas

Ingredients
1 large can of canned, shredded chicken (drained)
1 pkg of 'garden' cream cheese, softened (the kind I buy has onions, garlic and green peppers in it..I get it at the grocery store in the cream cheese section)
1 cup shredded cheese, your choice (I usually use sharp cheddar or a 'mexican' blend I buy at the store)
4 tortillas

Mix the shredded chicken with the cream cheese and spread onto one half of each of the tortillas. Top with the shredded cheese and fold the tortillas in half. You can grill them on a George Forman (which is what I do) or cook them in a skillet or a stovetop grill pan until they are warmed through and the cheeses are melted. Let cool for about 3-5 minutes, slice and serve. :)

OH MAN!! Why do you make the good food after I leave for college?!?!?

I'm dreaming of packing up and moving to the South of France, so tonight I made Chicken Cordon Bleu, Stuffed Tomatoes, and baby potatoes. It was yummy. Now if that Florida lottery would just spit out my numbers tonight, we're in business!

Tonight we are just grilling out~nothing fancy just burgers and grilled veggies.
Its my dd's last night of summer vacation and thats what they picked!!

DD1 has dance tonight, so spaghetti is on the menu tonight.

Taco Soup

It's super fast and easy for those who DIS too long and didn't plan ahead :rolleyes1

One large can chicken broth
one can corn, do not drain
one package taco seasoning
one can crushed/pureed tomatoes
chicken cooked and cubed

Throw it all in a pot. Heat and eat. Serve with cheese and taco chips and you've got a meal!

I made turkey burgers, baked potatoes, and corn.
