We're having frozen pizza!! :lmao:

We had Christmas Eve dinner (traditional Native food) at my grandparents' last night because our power went out, and we ended up getting snowed in at their place. No one could get anywhere today (we barely made it home), so we postponed our big family Christmas until tomorrow (where we'll have turkey, ham, stuffing, etc., etc., etc. and more etc.). I spent the day baking for tomorrow (since we had no power to bake yesterday), and we're making the turkey tomorrow morning. Tonight, we went with easy. Four cheese pizza, baby!!

ETA: My grampa made omelettes, waffles and rice for breakfast. We're a very random family.

We had chinese take out. The only place open! We made a big breakfast for my sister and BIL this morning, so I wasn't cooking/cleaning again!

We host Christmas dinner at our house so it tends to be pretty simple. We had...

Honeybaked Ham
Baked cheese grits
Green beans
Grape salad
Yeast rolls
assorted olives, pickles, etc.

And a sweets tray for dessert with homemade goodies: fudge, ritz cookies, oreo truffles, haystacks, etc.

We had chicken, rice, baked ziti, couple casserols, potatoes, various vegetables, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, apple pie, various ice creams, and more stuff. And that wasjust today.

I had another Christmas meal last night.

My dd made cheesy eggs from her cookbook she got this morning. I was so proud of her!

DH made prime rib w/ red wine au jus
mashed potatoes
and I made Ceviche

Dessert consisted of triple layer chocolate cake served with chocolate cherry ice cream. Yuuum-o!

Besides the food, its been a wonderful day. :)

WE went to Disney on Ice and was wanting to take the kids out to dinner afterwards, but everything was closed. Ordered Pizza Hut, even the chinese food places were closed.

Today My sister in law made ham, turkey, green beans, baked macaroni and cheese. She also baked all week and made about 10 different kinds of cookies. Last night at my brother in laws we had the traditional Italian 7 fish dinner that started at 5pm and ended at 2am! I am tired of eating!!!

We had panettone bread pudding for b'fast (got the recipe from Giada on the Food Network). Dinner was Thai Basil Chicken that I make and the family loves.
