Question for all the ebayers here.

What do you do when someone pays for the item and then they want it shipped to another address? Do you ship it? Thanks.

If it's an expensive item I explain that I can only ship to the address of record per Paypal rules in case there were to be any problem. It's for their safety, in case their ID had been stolen. It also protects you as the seller. You can check if they had a lot of feedback or unusual buying habits recently. A change in their account can be suspicious too. I have done it depending on verificatiojn that all seems well and again, it's not expensive.

One of my buyers backed out of a purchase. What do you do when that happens?

You need to file a NPB form if its mutually agreed on you can file it right away and you get your fees back. If they just flaked out and you want them to get a strike you need to wait 10 days I think and as long as they don't respond they will get a strike and you get your fees back.
Mutually accepted is better just because its quicker.

I have a gift card listed and it's a high amount (almost $300.) One of the people bidding on it has 0 history. Is that bad. One of the bids from someone else was cancelled by ebay. Do you think this is the same person but with a different user name?

Maybe, maybe not. I always worry with 0 feedback ratings. It could just be a person new to ebay, but you never know. And there is NO way to keep them from bidding. Anyway, all you can do is hope for the best.

These are small White Castle coffee mugs with a black label on the front that says:

A National Institution White Castle System, INC Established in 1921. Buy 'em By The Sack.

They measure 3 1/2" tall, 3-3/4 inches across including the handle

and feature the "ashtray" on the bottom.

Each mug holds 6oz.

They are in excellent condition. Interior and exterior are white and sparkling.

There are no signs of wear, chips or cracks.

I see people are still selling childrens clothing on eBay. Is it ok with that new crazy law re: lead? Or are people just risking it for now?
