What's everyone got for October rentals?

Just curious...I have two on hold right now...Alamo for $348/total for an SUV and National for $359/total also for an SUV. We are renting for 11 days, Oct. 16-26. Just wondering what everyone else has...and if my rates are okay. I rebooked when the prices fell at Alamo and National. Thrifty could get us lower, but DH wants a rental company AT the airport...

I am going to Orlando in October staying 4 nights, 5 days. As of right now I have a full size on hold with Dollar for $127 total. That is the best I could find. I still check daily for new bargains. I have never rented for 11 days (luck you!)
This past May we stayed for 7 nights. We had an SUV with Alamo for $125. That was an incredible bargain.

Enterprise Sat, Sun turn in Mon $37 for a standard total.
They will pick-up and drop-off at POP.

I Also have a cheap Dollar rental for 5 days in DEC at a DTD hotel location.

This way we use ME and can pick-up and drop off at our convienence and the gas station is right there as well.

We are traveling Oct 13-23 and have a compact car w/ Dollar for $216.50 reserved. I also found a midsize SUV w/ Alamo for $279.72. There's only two of us going, so I don't see us needing the SUV.

I've got dollar right now. A full size for 14 days, paying $313 total using the Kiss2 code. Alamo is $389 for an SUV for the 14 days, so a little too high for us. We are only 2 adults so a full size car is OK, though we would prefer an SUV. We are hoping that Alamo and/or National get closer to the total we currently have, then I would switch to one of them, since we are both Executive Aisle members and Quick S members. We are in WDW Oct. 14-27, so have 5 weeks for some discounts to start showing up.

We have 2 right now (I think) but the National rental is the same price for 5 less days than the Hertz so unless they drop we are cancelling National's.

What codes are you using for National? I am an Emerald member and prefer to rent from them but they dont come close in price to Dollar this time.

I used the Emerald # from mousesavers. The one they "prefill" in for me didn't give ANY discount. The mousesavers # gave me 10% off. I also used the $25 coupon for SUVs, minivans, luxury, etc on mousesavers.

I just tried your dates and the rates are super high! $465/total for an SUV (using the above codes) and $574/total for a minivan! I can't believe there would be that much of a difference since our travel dates are only 2 days apart! Strange! I just checked mine and they are still at $359/total for our SUV. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

I don't know if you would consider Alamo for a rental - but I checked your dates and here is what I found...
mid-size SUV - $279.72/total
standard SUV - $350.36/total
(not so good) minivan - $432.77/total
I used the Walmart code (430710 / BY) and coupon for $25 (D24C). Using the Walmart code also gives you and additional driver for free.
