We are going to a family Christmas Party.

I'm going shopping after dinner. The stores were packed earlier. I went last night after 9:00 nd it was great.

Since all the holiday stuff is done, nothing much. It is actually going to be nice to have a whole weekend with nothing to do.

Everyone is going out here tonight, so if I can stay off the DIS long enough I'm going to try to get some wrapping done..

Just wrapped last minute gifts, those are done.

stuffed chicken breast in the oven, so after dinner-

banana bread- dough's ready to go
cranberry/orange bread- doughs ready to go

sugar cookies- doughs in the fridge

and chocolate/oatmeal no bake cookies

I inherited another child tonight while her dad goes shopping, so the 4 of us girls will be making cookies!

Well, my DD has the flu so....I will be surfing the DIS all night! What should I be doing? Making cookies, shopping and wrapping the gifts already bought!

Edited to add: We rented Polar Express and are planning on watching it tonight with the lights out and only the glow of the TV and the Christmas Tree!!

Well, I've been working late every night since Thanksgiving, so I haven't done much to get ready for Christmas. I did some shopping this afternoon, soon I'll have a simple dinner and do some cleaning, some laundry & then to pamper myself I'm going to take a nice long bubble bath. I got home at midnight last night & I'm exhausted!

I am a volunteer Relief Manager at our local Ronald McDonald House so I am working from 5-9pm. It is located next door to McMaster University Medical Centre in Hamilton, Ontario and we stayed here when our son was born nearly 9 years ago. I signed up after his four surgeries were complete and he was well on his way to a great childhood. I enjoy it and bring the kids along (only if they are healthy) to play with the siblings of the kids in the ICU or Neo-Natal unit. The house is decorated so beautifully for Christmas so it feels good to be here. Plus, there is an Outback Steakhouse near here and I was able to pick up my favourite dish from there for dinner ~ Queensland Salad with honey mustard dressing! Yummmmmmmy
