What's everyone doing today?

I'm heading to Battle Creek to hopefully finish up most of my shopping. I will be meeting my sister there as she will be joining me. I see her only a few times a year so I'm very excited!!

Unfortunately I'm stuck at work today and tomorrow but at least I'm off next week. I'm busy (when the boss isn't looking) finalizing my plans to whisk my DH away for the weekend. whoo-hoo!!

Cleaning and baking and going to DS's Holiday party at school.

Thankfully DH is off tomorrow but the kids are still in school so I'll have tons of help - I hope. I want him to run errands like the liquor store, etc.

Running 3 miles as part of my 1/2 marathon training (started Monday ) then getting ready and going to see my grandma for lunch at her new assisted living place. Once I get home I've got TONS of wrapping to do before and after dinner! It's so overwhelming!!!!

Doing my dad's last minute Christmas shopping
Then I have to drive up his curvy mountain driveway, on a solid sheet of ice to see if the presents that he ordered online for my sister and me have arrived yet. The other presents should arrive at my house this afternoon. Then I get to wrap all of that stuff (well my sister or mom has to wrap my presents), plus the stuff from me that I haven't finished wrapping.

Playing with the kiddos. Watching more Teletubbies than I'd ever want to see. Wrapping presents. Getting my vaccuum cleaner back from the repair shop. Yeah! (I know, sounds exciting, doesn't it! haha)

I have been so overloaded this term from school that I have neglected my home. I need to clean it, but I also have to go to Target. I think i'll go as soon as they open. That way I have a shot at a parking spot!

Yesterday I was home all day waiting for the plumber to fix our shower. So I got an extremely large amount of cleaning done yesterday. Today I get off work at 1:30 so I'll probably finish laundry this afternoon. Not too much fun planned, but DH said he wants to go out on a "date night" on Friday!

As for me, I've been cleaning the kitchen to get it ready for Christmas Day. We always serve "buffet style" along the counters so I cleared the clutter on the end and have a few more things to put away, then I want to wipe down the appliances, backsplash, etc. and sweep and mop the floor.

This afternoon I'm shopping for Christmas Day groceries.

Also finished filling the grandchildren's stockings this morning.

Sitting at home with a sick kid, until DH gets home from work. I had plans to take the kids to daycare for the morning so that I could get the last of the shopping done--all of the gift certificates that we need over $300 worth at multiple places, and the rest of the grocery shopping done, then head off to my daughter's gymnastics, and get the kids teeth cleaned at the dentist.

Now I have to wait until he gets home, and go shopping and them try to get wrapping done tonight as I work 12 hours tommorrow.

I really should take advantage to being home and get off this board and get going on cleaning as Christmas is to be at our house on Sunday.

I took a personal day from work, and after I stop dis'ing, ( I keep saying just one more thread. lol) I need to clean the whole house, grocery shop, get gifts ready for work, and for DS's daycare, buy a gift for DS's teacher.

Jennifer S. you are so lucky that your DH helps you... I am so jealous. I asked my DH to be available last night becuase I wanted to go grocery shopping, and I needed him to help me bring in the bags. He just kind of rolled his eyes at me and acted like I had some nerve even asking him. I said forget it, I'll do it myself tomorrow. Now I'm stuck doing everything myself.

O.K. last post, I have to get my butt moving!!

I just this morning realized that my DD has off school TOMORROW (had mis-read the school schedule, D'oh!), so I'm off to get some gift cards for her Christmas and to check out Costco.

I just flew up to Edinburgh last night where I am spending Christmas with my best friend. Unfortunately...he is a slob. His flat is disgustingly dirty, and I really can't live like that, especially at Christmas, so we went and bought cleaning supplies and some Christmas stuff today, and will clean up tonight. Before that I want to do the grocery shopping for the next few days (all my baking supplies, etc.) It is just the two of us (we are both away from our families in CA) so we aren't cooking a huge amount.

I'm out of work just after 11 am - I'll go home and have lunch with Mom, then I'm off to finish my Christmas shopping. I have ALL the wrapping still to do. I'll bake some cookies, make some dough, do a little laundry.

I am supposed to be at work but my youngest is sick.So I have been at the Dr. office and then to the clinic for xrays.I am waiting to hear from the Dr.That will determine what the rest of the day will bring.I need to get off this computer and wrap.
