I'll be doing laundry, a little ironing and taking the Christmas decorations down. Maybe this afternoon I'll take a little nap. Trying to get back in the swing of things since I have to go back to work after being off for 2 nice long weeks.

We've just been slobbing about today...House is clean after loads of housework yesterday....Just going to be dising...playing with the kids and then tonight we going out to a local italian restaurant as it is Dh's 34th birthday!.....If I can tear him away from the Wii.
He is back at work tomorrow though...travelling down to London in the morning. Kids not back till next week though.

We just had Mickey waffles and then we will take the Christmas decorations down.:guilty: That is about it though!!!!:thumbsup2

Well, I slept in until 1pm after going to sleep at 5am! So far I haven't done much at all, just browsing the internet. Only real plan is to tidy our flat, do the dishes, etc. Lots of resting mainly!

Unpacking everything I packed a few days ago to head to Disney (then on to my sister's) on January 16th.. Then I'm going to stand here and stare at it all and really, REALLY try to convince myself that I don't need all of that stuff..

I know I'm packing way too much stuff - just have to figure out how to eliminate some of it and pack all over again..

Is there a 12-step program for "overpackers"??? :scared1:

My plan was to just stay home. Just a minute ago one of my friends called me and told me she was going to Kohl's. I love Kohl's, so I'm going there too!

We are going to my brothers house for dinner. Back to school tomorrow for us.:)

Watching football what else is there. I'll probably be on the couch knitting most of the afternoon watching the bowl games ooooooo and the coyotes hockey game. But then I promised my boyfriend I'll make him cookies so I'll do that during halftime or something. Then tonight we are cooking our traditional new year's crab dinner.

Working..... and since I'm not too busy (*knock wood*) DIS'ing.

Then after work at 6 I'll rush home to watch some more football. (That's what I did yesterday after de-Christmasing the house.)

Cooking:goodvibes The house smells so yummy. The black-eyed pea soup is simmering on the stove, apple pie cooling, and the corn bread in the oven. DS is down for his nap and DH & I are going to watch movies we rented. It’s a perfect way to celebrate the New Year!
Plus, its cold and rainy so another reason to just stay indoors.;)

Pretty much just a lazy day here.

Slept late, ate a late breakfast, showered late, DISing now, will read my book & later we'll go out with the neighbors to the place that chicken wings were "invented", which has become a New Year's Day tradition!

Back to reality tomorrow. :sad1:

Trying to find something on besides football(most boring day of the year)

I have slept, ate, watched TV and movies, and surfed the DIS today.

I've been deeeeeeep cleaning the house all day long, which is boring, but you could perform brain surgery on my kitchen counters now. :thumbsup2

Took down Christmas decorations while watching the Rose Parade. Planted a flower bulb and sewed a tote bag using my new sewing machine.
