Me and my fiancee are planning a trip for next year, we went twice last year (January and October) and this year I took her for her birthday in July hoping to get some really hot weather and out of the 6 days we had 2 hot days and the rest were just ok.

Next year we still want to go when there is going to be some decent weather but a lot less quieter on the crowds front, we would be going on the Monday for 4 nights/5 days.

What are the crowds like for either of these months? and also I know the weather is hard to predict but what weather can I expect? Do many things close during this time due to it being out of school holidays? and finally not so much of a question but I really hope some better deals comes out!!!!!

I've been in mid-May and early June - the weather was warm but prone to showery rain as well as sunshine. Parks were quiet, on our June trip we saw some of the summer shows (Tarzan, HSM in the Studios, Auroras show in the Castle courtyard etc). There were school groups in the parks on both trips, but we never seemed to encounter any of them in ride queues.

If you didn't get great weather in July, I wouldn't bank on it being any better in May/June.

I believe May would be busier than June next year, as there are French public holidays in May, and don't French companies' holiday years tend to end at the end of May, so local guests may be using up their holidays in May?

I've been in May & June and would recommend September!!! :lmao:

May was REALLY cold!!! June was ok, grey and one very wet day. September was glorious sunshine and with really low crowds, by far the best weather.

Out of the main summer season there are some closures as you would have seen in January & October.

I think the current 30% off deal is quite good as it also discounts the travel costs which worked better for us this year.

Happy planning! :goodvibes

We went in late June this year and were lucky with warm weather, but I wouldn't book expecting it (any more than you would in the UK!).

Crowds were worse in late June than in October, mostly because there were a lot of school trips and I think Spanish schools had already broken up. Having said that, queues were never more than half an hour for the most popular attractions, and still quieter than the Saturday in October.

Hmmm I never thought of September that's a possibility and more time to save spending money!!!! Then again the reason I thought June was because I was also plannin on taking her for Christmas and thought June would be perfect as its half way through the year, hmmm I'll have a think! Thanks guys
