What's breakfast like at the Sequoia Lodge??

Just wondered what the breakfast is like at the Sequoia Lodge??
Do you get fresh fruit as opposed to the tinned fruit which i have been told you get in Cheyenne and Santa Fe??
Also can you have toast?? my daughter isn't too keen on cereals and loves her toast in the mornings.

I'm 99% sure it was a fresh fruit salad at Sequoia Lodge.
I know I've made toast at either the SF or Cheyenne, but not at SL, but I see no reason why there wouldn't be a toaster.
There is a very large breakfast choice so I'm sure there will be something your DD will like.

yes you do get fresh fruit at the sequoia, and yes there is a toaster aswell

i like the seqouia for breakfast, we found it quite relaxed

I have been to Sequoia Lodge several times and have always had fresh fruit at breakfast, although the choice isn't vast (apples, bananas etc). Always a toaster available too. Enjoy!!!

I remember there being fruit salad available, along with various bread, a toaster, croissants (normal & chocolate), youghurts, various meats and cheeses, and cereal, milk, coffee and juice when we stayed at the SL earlier this month. And if you can, go before 8am. We went twice at 7:30am and it was very relaxed, compared to the day we went at about 8:30am where it felt a lot more frantic!

Agree with above poster we were allocated an 8.45am breakfast slot in March but arrived around 7.15 - 7.30 to find the restaurant empty.

Thanks so much for all your replies. I am glad there is a toaster and fresh fruit.
I will try and book an early breakfast slot if i can, it seems most people's experiences are the earlier the better.
