Where would you guys say the park perimeter is?
In DLR it seems to be between Ball, Harbor, DL Drive and the old parking lot.
But in MK the railroad is a viable border or the canals.
Does it only include guest accessable areas?
Does it only include undevloped areas?
I think it depends upon what you are trying to refer to.
The "berm" refers to the built up bank that goes around DL. However, if you are trying to compare the size of DL and MK, this will let you down. That area will not include attractions at DL which actually sit outside of the berm, as discussed above.
If you exclude areas that are not accessible to guests then you are cutting out a LOT of space.
And again, if you are trying to compare space at DL and MK, don't forget to add in everything that exists UNDER the MK, which guests never see.
I have always understood it to be "the berm" or large built-up hill to block the view outside DL.
In terms of traditionally, and very general terminology, this is what I would agree with as well.
