Looking for opinions on Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace? We've been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and Crystal Palace for lunch.

What is your opinion - Is Chef Mickey's better for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Same with Crystal Palace?

We like Crystal Palace for dinner. Their food is much better than Chef Mickey's is at dinner.

CM for dinner is good. Never had breakfast there but hear it is also good.

CP- I have been here for B,L and D. Never have been disappointed but any meal I have had here. Also have been with some picky eaters and there is something for everyone.

Crystal Palace breakfast is our favorite! Definitely a must. We liked it better than dinner at CP and Chef Mickey's.

Chef Mickey's breakfast is better than dinner. I liked dinner ok at Chef Mickey's, but my family just went and didn't like it. Breakfast is safer.

We've had breakfast at Chef Mickeys each time we've gone to WDW and will probably continue to do so. It's great, the selection is wonderful and the characters are perfect. The reviews for CM are pretty good for breakfast- they seem to go downhill from there, though.

We had breakfast at Crystal Palace on our last trip which was also pretty good, and we would definitely do it again. I've heard that the seatings tend to get a little backed up so you may want to get first seatings for your meals or eat at off times.

We have eaten at CP for lunch every Disney trip and will continue to go there every tripe. On our next trip we are going to CP for Breakfast and dinner.
We have gone to CM for dinner and the food was bad but my son loved the characters so we will be trying to go for breakfast.

We love dinner at both. Crystal Palace is my favorite for our trips. Love the food, the atmosphere and the characters.

We've also been to both, and hands down the food at CP is better than CM. We still do both though as the kids love breakfast at CM, but DH & I prefer CP for lunch as it's a nice way to take a rest from the park and we've always had great character interaction there.

Chef M is okay for bkfst, but don't really like it for dinner (wouldn't eat there at all except that kids enjoy it)! We do like CP for B, L, or D!

My opinion on Chef Mickey's for dinner - skip it. It was chaotic, dirty, and really bad food. The character interaction was minimal. My kids LOVED this place but my husband and I will NOT be back. It was the only time we had to eat dinner after eating dinner at this restaurant. Just my opinion though!

I totally agree. And it's been this way for years. Hard to believe that a Disney Restaurant could have so many minuses for such a long time. You would think that someone would come along and improve things.
But I guess since they never have problems filling tables, there is no urgency to change anything.

I've been to Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace both for dinner. I didn't notice any real different in food quality, but my service at Chef Mickey's was much better. I also like the atmosphere at Chef Mickey's better.

I did do a Chef Mickey's breakfast once, but that was in 1987.

We do CM for breakfast every visit to DW. The kids love it and the mickey waffles are always hit with everyone!

Yes, the characters at Crystal Palace are Pooh, Tigger, Piglet & Eyeore.
