Going in May on DxDP. I've heard a lot of raves about the QS side - Wolfgang Puck Express but not too many comments on the TS? I know only first floor is allowed on DP.

We went to the table service part of Wolfgang Puck. We were not on the dining plan. It was in the middle of the week and the restaurant was not busy.

I had a just ok steak served with french fries and nothing else. I don't eat french fries, so I asked for a baked potato instead, I was told no, it can't be done. Any other kind of potato? No. I asked for any kind of vegetable, nope it can't be done. It's french fries or nothing.

Finally, I said do not bring the french fries because it will be a complete waste of food. I do not like to throw food away. I will pay for a vegetable, so I did get broccoli, but was made to feel like I was a major nuisance.

Who serves steak with only french fries? Apparently, the gourmet chef Wolfgang Puck.

We will never return to Wolfgang Puck's Restaurant.

Well that makes no sense. Even McDonald's lets you get apple slices with a kids meal instead of fries. You'd think WP would have a choice of side orders for more health-conscious diners.

I don't blame you for not going back.

The food is good (the sushi's really good). The service is awful.

My friend asked for a pizza without sliced tomatoes or onions. They brought it with the tomatoes and onions. She reminded the server she had asked for one without the tomatoes and onions. The server took it away and brought back - the same pizza with the tomatoes and onions pulled off. They didn't even get all the onions.

Maybe I just had a great experience - I've been there once. It was my family (2 adult, 2 kids) and another family so 8 of us total. We all LOVED our meals - just about the best of our whole trip. It wasn't busy - which we loved! During free dining the restaurants are all packed and at this one we actually had some breathing room - it was a nice switch - we could hear each other and had the kids down at one end of the table and the adults at the other. Our waiter was awesome. I wasn't in the mood for any of the adult desserts so I asked him to just bring me a scoop of ice cream (it's on the kids menu). He brought out a HUGE adult sized portion of ice cream all nicely laid out with some extra side things like chocolate sauce, etc. He went way above and beyond.

We're returning there in August...I wanted a DTD choice for our DisneyQuest day. I'm hoping for similar experience.

I've also been wanting to try Express and have missed it every time - this year we are definitely doing it one of our other nights and/or breakfast on the day of DisneyQuest.

I had a great meal at the cafe last year. The steak with blue cheese was absolutely delicious and it's one of the definites for my visit next year.
