Whats App

Has anybody ever used Whats App? This was suggested to us as an option for keeping in touch with our son when he goes to England on a school trip. I don't quite understand how it works. Any information? Thank you!

It is a texting app that works over WiFi. I use it daily to.chat with friend in Canada and not.pay to.text. Works great

I don't know anything about it but what about just using Skype? You can text or call and it doesn't cost anything as long as you have a wifi connection.

We used that when my DH went to Spain for a few weeks for work. It is basically texting app but through Wi-Fi. We also used Skype while he was away too.

You can also use Google Hangouts!

Use it regularly to keep in touch with family in Paris. Texting internationaly with no cost. Can also send pics and videos.

I use it and love it! It's basically the same as texting but with no extra crazy costs!
