What's anyone's experience with Budget?

What is anyone's experience with Budget out at MCO? Any pressures to buy? Do you get to select your own car or do they provide you a selected car?

Opinion's appreciated.

I have used them a couple of times....horribly slow service and long lines. Maybe it was just the time of day I happened to be there. They did try the hard sell on insurance, but I've experienced that with every rental company in Orlando.

Budget, on the MCO side, stinks. They are very, very slow and seem to be horribly unorganized. Oddly, we've also used them at the Cape Canaveral site, and it's the opposite - they're fast and organized.

I think the Budget management staff at MCO is probably the problem.

We've always been assigned a pre-selected car (unlike Alamo, where you just pick your car from the selected category).

We rented from MCO 2 weeks ago. The line inside was terribly long, so we kept going to the desk in the garage.
The line there had 1 person in front of us and they finished just after we walked up.
There was no hard sell on the insurance-it was never even mentioned. The car was pre-assigned (altho she asked if the make was OK).
It took us less than 5 minutes from start to finish. It might have helped that I had signed up for Fastbreak first, so they had all of my information.

Doesn't Budget have a kiosk if you are a Fastbreak member?
