Can I have some too? please? pretty please??

Quite a few threads here that won't die :sad2:

Can I add one -

someone started a thread that their wife is expecting.

someone else felt the need to state "I assume you have resolved your issues"
(I am paraphrasing). WTH!!!! A simple congratulations is all he was looking for! I am SO ANNOYED with the holier than thou attitudes around here lately.

1. My profs assigning a paper, me completing the paper and going to class, only for the profs to CHANGE THEIR MINDS about what they want in the paper! Have to start over!! UGGGGG!

2. My countdown timers playing hide and seek!!!

My idiot neighbor. Bob The Builder. He's currently digging up some unknown part of his property that abuts my property. He has 3 acres. I have 5 acres. Yet, this dude always seems to be in my face. He's using the broken excavator he bought in hopes of getting some jobs. Four years ago, he bought, fixed, and sold cars. Then, he decided he was going to "build houses" - whatever the heck THAT means. Who is going to buy a house built by some random guy?? That plan went flop and now, in order to pay for the horses he put 3 inches from my property line, he's advertising (with a sign that violates a host of town ordinances) his services with his broken excavating machine.

He built the stable by hand. No permit. He hammered every day for a few hours for a YEAR. He still hammers every now and then. Today, he's digging something up. It's near my property line, but I can't see through the trees. I'm doing the guy a favor by putting my iPod on and hanging out on the computer. If I go out there and see him doing something that is remotely touching my property, his life is going to take a turn for the worse.

Can I add post-nasal drip to my annoyances today? I know... it's probably TMI, but it is driving me crazy today (and kept me awake most of last night). Even with Allegra and Flonase... ugh, this looks like it's going to be a very bad allergy season. :(

That was me. That poster had threads about some pretty intense things going on in their marriage. I wasn't being snotty, I was being sincerely hopeful. Chill.

I have to agree with this one!!

Also, I don't mean to laugh at anyone, but this is a funny thread. :rotfl2: I thought of a lot of little things that annoy me, but by the time I got done reading the replies here, I was in a better mood!

This cracked me up, too: My idiot neighbor. Bob the Builder. :lmao:

I thoroughly cleaned and rearranged my living room furniture--and i hate the way it looks. :guilty: there is nothing appealing about it. I'm such a terrible decorator. I wish I had the money to just hire someone to come fix up my house.

If I hear that stupid OnStar commercial where the woman is crying/whining, "Soommmeeeebooody just hiiiitttt meeeee". They ask if she is hurt - "I don't knoooooowwww." They get someone else on the line and he asks if she is injured - "I thiiiinnnk I'mmmmm bleeeeeeding frooommm the siiiide of myyyy headddd." That has got to be the most annoying commerical on the radio today. Whew, there, I said it.

I hate that one, too. And speaking of commercials there is one that I find not so much annoying as just down right creepy. Even worse than that scary Burger King guy.

I believe the commercial is about reminding people to have a colonoscopy. There is a guy going about his everyday routine, but he has a woman, (his wife?), attached to his back so that everywhere he goes she goes, too. It's creepy, though, how she is just hanging there and never changes the expression on her face. She's kind of lifeless and flops around. When the guy pokes his head over a cubicle at work, her face is right behind him. Scary stuff.

People who cheat in revolving doors.
Hmmm...seems inconvenient, to say the least. Why not just get a room? :confused3

;)

My own personal annoyance of the day: crystal meth manufacturers. THEY are the reason I have to practically have to have a background check every time I go to buy Sudafed, which is about the only thing keeping me from literally sneezing my head off these days. WV passed a law requiring photo ID and your name entered into a registry every time you buy a product with pseudoephidrine.

1- That its the end of March and I still have to wear my winter coat.

2- That my three year old doesn't understand that when Mom says no I mean no and that I dont want to have a detailed discussion about the reason why I said no.

3- That I feel like I'm playing babysitter to my contractor for every single item for my new home.

What can I say its Monday and I'm just irritated in general.

edited to add: 4- That I've had to edit every single post I've made because I can't seem to pull together the whole grammar and spelling thing today

YES! Stop with the feel good legislation. I don't know how to stop these idiots, but darn it, I need my Sudafed and I can't always get to the store when the pharmacy is open.

That is another benefit of my school stocking it in the convenience store. I just have to go when it's open; no background checks or anything. I'm sure it's overpriced, but I'm just using the prepaid dining dollars that my parents paid for, not my real money anyway.
NH has passed similar legislation. And the one time I had to get Sudafed when I didn't realize the school stocked it, all I had to do was go to the pharmacy counter, although I've heard that it's gotten more complicated.

People that send email to everybody up the food chain to ream you out. When it is a problem you inherited from a coworker that has gone to another job. Then then people you need to talk to are on vacation, no longer work there, or are traveling.

The smokers that are constantly coming and going out back. Their smoke smell travels into the atrium and all over the 1st and 2nd floors as well as in the elevator.

It is supposed to be spring but it is still too cold to wear sandals.

Just about everything will annoy me next week. ;)

Take a picture and post (or PM me) - Ill help you out. I have an eyeball for stuff like that! :thumbsup2

1. The weather. I hate winter. We made the mistake of going to WDW in March, now I hate WI even more.

2. Nothing to do on the weekends. See #1 above

3. My sons cough. He really is sick. Has been for 3 weeks. He's on his second round of antibiotics for it. The thing is, he starts coughing cuz he really has too, then he just keeps going for the fun of it. Pretty soon he is hacking and wheezing and turning red. We have to tell him to stop, but I feel bad cuz maybe he isn't faking. But I am pretty sure he is.

What annoys me is people who "THINK" they know what they are talking about but really don't have a clue.

Loud, obnoxious people bother me too.
