I want to get a VeggieTales DVD for a 4 year old. He likes trains, but he has tons of Thomas the Tank DVD's already, so I'm going with something a little different. My kids used to like VeggieTales, but they had the VHS tapes which we got rid of long ago at garage sales.
What is a good VeggieTales DVD to get a boy who has no idea who VeggieTales are? I can't remember the first one we bought - I suppose I could figure it out just by the date they were issued.
Anyone care to recommend a title their child enjoys?:happytv:

the first one is titled Where's God when I'm scared ? love veggitales :cool1:

A Snoodles Tale is one of our favorites. Sort of done Dr. Seuss style. But, we also own almost every one of them, and I can't think of one that I don't like.

My kids liked the Daniel one best.

....Oh, no, what we gonna do? The king likes Daniel more than me and you...

I just asked DS *10* he said "Lord of the Beans" he also likes the Minnesota Cuke ones *my kids watch VTs on Netflix.

Our younger dd likes Madame Blueberry, Dave and the Giant Pickle, The Rumor Weed, and Alvin and the Angry Eyebrows.

We really liked "Dave and the Giant Pickle" and "Lord of the Beans."

I will say that for a 4 year old "Where is God when I'm Afraid?" might be a little intense. Depends on the kid, but it was a little much for us.

Josh and the Big Wall!! My all time favorite. "I've got slushie in my ear". I also love Lord of the Beans and Rack, Shak, and Bennie. "the bunny, the bunny. Ya I love the bunny." Okay, I'm a huge veggie tales fan. I think I like them at least as much as my 5 yr old!

My DD loves them all, but Saint Nicholas is her favorite, along with all the Christmas ones! My DH will watch The Pirates who dont do anything because he likes Mr. Lunt. " That's impossible, and this is coming from a gourd who swam 90 miles with no arms or legs"

My DS loves all of them, but Larryboy and Minnesota Cuke are his favorites. He also really likes the Silly Songs Collections...

My oldest loved Madame Blueberry at that age- Happiness waits at the Stuff- mart. All you need is Lots more Stuff!!!
You just can't go wrong...close your eyes and pick one! I love me some veggies...

MY kids are grown, but when we lose something, we sometimes still break out into song......

"OH WHERE, IS MY HAIRBRUSH? WHERE IS MY HAIRBRUSH? OH WHERE OH WHERE OH WHERE, OH WHERE-- IS MY HAIR-BRUSH??"

I love Lord of the Beans and The Pirates Who Can't Do Anything.

I just asked DS *10* he said "Lord of the Beans" he also likes the Minnesota Cuke ones *my kids watch VTs on Netflix.

Asked my 10 yo ds and he said the same thing. Lord of the Beans is based on The Lord of the Rings, it's actually pretty funny.

Madame Blueberry is a favorite in our house. Even I sing along to that one!

I will second "rack, shack, and benny" and "josh and the big wall" - I really like those. I also like Lyle the kindly viking, and Jonah.
