what's a good new year's gift?

I need to give a new year's gift (small) to a co-worker who gave me a gift for Christmas (and I didn't give her one.)

any ideas? what's a good new years gift?

What about a half a dozen variety pack of hot cocoa (like Land O' Lakes) in a cool mug? The grocery stores in our area sell individual packs of flavors like Supreme, Dark Chocolate, Raspberry, White Chocolate, Mint, Mocha, etc.

I would give a box of Scratch Off Lottery Tickets to bring the new year in.

They are so much fun and who knows she could get lucky!

What did she give you? Something in a similar price range. Maybe a candy or beverage you know she likes (I gave a four pack of Starbucks fraps with a cute package of candy). I also often give dinner and a movie as a single, not family or couple, gift ($25 restaurant card and $15 movie certificates).

I second this idea.

My mother actually brought over lottery tickets for dinner on Christmas Eve and gave them out to everyone (my family and my inlaws and sister in law).
My family ended up with $70, my mom and inlaws $0
