Are you asking about "Rice Cream" that is sold at Kringla Og in Norway? If so, it is similar to rice pudding, but much better. Instead of being made with an egg & milk base, it is made with sweetened whipped cream that holds the rice together with a dollop of strawberry sauce on top. Rich, creamy and oohh so delicious.
I have the recipe in one of my disney cook books. Tried making it once, but it just wasn't quite the same. Maybe I need more practice.
Rice Dream is a brand of ice cream made out of primarily rice milk. I have looked at the ingredients as I am allergic to milk proteins and this does contain some milk products. However, I hear it is very tasty. I will just stick with my Tofutti (soy-based ice cream), which most TS restaurants also have in stock.
We have Rice Dream every Christmas here in Sweden after our dinner, and there are two varietys. I believe the one sold in WDW is the one we always go for, which is made with whipped cream and loads of it too! Very yummy stuff with the strawberry sauce on top . Also there is always one almond hiding in the huge bowl it is served from, and the person who finds it they say will get married soon. Course I'm usually the only one not married except for the little ones so if I find it it always makes my DBF wiggle a little bit, haha.
