Whatever happened???

Does anyone know whatever happened to the Character Warehouse stores? We had a large one at the Woodbury Commons OUtlets in NY that recently closed. Also had a new one at Clinton Crossings Outlet in CT that up and closed before the store was ever really complete. Does anyone know what happened to them and have all of them closed? Thanks!

I get the impression that some of them open and close quickly. We had one at Gurnee Mills (IL) for about two months - then, poof, gone!
