They made the announcement in 2020, and three years later we still haven't heard so much as a whisper of that movies status?

Yeah yeah I know, COVID, but come on, that alone couldn't have put a freeze on it outright.

It's still happening. I also heard a rumor a while back that Disney World might make a ride/counter service restaurant inspired by Disney's Robin Hood.

Oh if only Disneyland follows suit. Robin Hood is among my fantastic four of Disney movies, alongside Bolt, Zootopia, and Raya and the Last Dragon.

The rumor was for both WDW and DL. But like I said, I heard that last year so who knows if it's true or if was someone's own wishful thinking. My guess is Friars Nook would become Friar Tucks Nook, and just add to the menu (since most people like the menu now anyway). This way WDW/DL would not have to spend alot to update a popular counter service, while giving it a Robin Hood spin. They could have Friar Tuck, Robin Hood, Little John, and Maid Marian in a meet and greet near by.

The Maid Marian costume would need a rather serious facelift at this point; the one from the 80s/90s is quite dated.
