I remember getting up on Saturday mornings and watching show after show after show of Wile E. Coyote, and Bugs Bunny, and Marvin the Martian, Tweety Bird, Foghorn Leghorn, The RoadRunner, and the many others.

Lots of cool cartoons and interspersed with Schoolhouse Rock shows.

We lived for Saturday morning cartoons.

The only station that shows cartoons on Saturday is one of the off-stations and those cartoons are pretty weird.

I know my kids would have gotten a kick out the Barber of Seville.

Where has it all gone?

They're on 24/7 instead!!

DH has been up with Belle two nights this week watching cartoons at 2am! She's becoming a huge Superfriends and Spider Man fan.

But that's not the same. It was a tradition for us in our house. I know there are 423 (or a few less than that) cartoon channels on our dish, so I can see all kinds, but Saturday mornings just aren't the same anymore. :(

I know what you mean! There was nothing like sitting on the couch with a big bowl of Fruity Pebbles and watching the Smurfs on a Saturday morning! I just recently asked my mom the same question.

I noticed that too. I checked recently and they had mostly news on the major networks! How sad for those who don't have cable.

I used to live for Saturday mornings, LOL. Used to love Andy's Gang, with Buster Brown and Froggy. And then Flash Gordon and wrestling on late Sunday mornings.

I though Saturday morning cartonns went bye-bye when some people wanted their cartoons to be more educational. It's kind of funny how there was so much backlash during the "Simpsons" early years, but now they are winning family friendly awards.

I don't know, but I have caught one, I think it's called Tutenstein or something, and it really cracked me up!

I'm with you on this one. My kids and I miss those great WB cartoons.

One of my faves is Bugs Bunny with the Genie. It is hilarious!!

Although, I occasionally watch Cartoon network with the kids.
Kyle (10) thinks Ed, Edd and Eddy is funny...sometimes, yes, mostly no.

We do love Spongebob Squarepants!!

BRING BACK BUGS BUNNY and DAFFY DUCK!!!

Actually they're still on.

Yesterday, they were on NBC, CBS, ABC, ABC family, WB, Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel.

The problem is that they're on like 6 am and I refuse to wake up that early on a Saturday morning!:teeth:
