What'd you get for Easter?

I have asked for nothing. No candy either. I really hope my parents' listened to me. I have so much to be thankful for! Heck, they paid for Ryan and I to go to Disney. That is way beyond any easter gift in my book.

We never really saw easter as a gift giving holiday but when I was about 7 or 8 I wouldn't eat chocolate because I hated it and so mum would give me a video or something and because she gave me something my siblings had to get something and now I eat chocolate again but we still get something. So this year I got some eggs from the easter bunny (bilby as my sister always corrects me) and from mum and dad I got a bunny (the chocolate kind...just thought I'd set that straight) and Breakout and some caramel eggs.

I was asked: "Do you really care if we do Easter baskets this year?" and I honestly really didn't care.

So, I just got candy. Dove chocolate and Reese's eggs. Which is perfectly fine by me.

mom is taking me shopping on monday to micheals to buy some materials for my bjd. :3


we usually just give candy.
-shrug- easter isnt technically about giving gifts. christmas isnt either. but we all still do, and it makes it fun for the kids. theres no harm in easter baskets :/
and it involves bunnies and cute little baby animals because the holiday is in spring. spring = new life. which agrees with certain religions, if you think about it.

this year just candy.
in past years i used to get little toys or a movie or cd or something.
this year we've been so busy and just bought a new car yesterday and are buying a boat.
i told mom i don't really care about a basket or hiding eggs or anything this year.
but today i got my best friend a basket at walmart and stuffed it with TONS of candy.
and i saw my mom get me some candy

I got some easter eggs, like normal. My favourite is probably the Mini Eggs easter egg my nan got me. It's huge :-D

Nothing, I've never gotten anything for easter.
I had to wake up at 3:00 both today and yesterday to cook half a pig and polenta though.

As I said, I didn't get any presents.
I got a hollow dog that has a suitcase in it's mouth. Enough mini eggs for me to get a major migraine with, Hershey Spring Kisses, Milka Lil Scoops (love love love), Dairy Milk & Caramilk Cadbury bunnies, Lindt chocolate eggs, and a Hershey chocolate marshmallow bunny.

It's not as much as I usually get, but last year I was given a lot to compensate for my parents going on vacation without me. I don't really care, Easter really isn't about chocolate or presents. I didn't get any Creme Eggs tho =/ mostly *** I got my lil scoops.
