We always go out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner, so there will be no leftovers. That's the only bad part about going out.

I do look forward to Christmas dinner leftovers though. We eat ham/turkey sandwiches for a few days, and there are always other leftovers so no cooking for me for a few days. Love that!!

I keep enough to make myself a turkey, stuffing, cranberry and mayo sandwich the next day. The rest of the leftovers get sent home with my MIL because no one in my house ever eats leftovers.

We repeat the entire dinner the next day.

I actually found a dumpling recipe that uses Thanksgiving leftovers that I want to try this year.

Turkey pot pie!!

A few sandwiches, a second dinner on Saturday, and some big lunches for a few days. I got a 14 lb turkey for 4 people for just this reason. That means leftovers for me and mom!

We eat around 2:00. So that night a big old turkey sandwich for me. We have one more time of the whole meal and then I always make turkey noodle soup, after we have eaten turkey sandwiches a couple of times.
