Hi there, this is my first time posting on this DIS board and because we are from Canada, I was wondering what to bring on the trip to Disney, we are planning on going in November or December '08 and don't know what to expect... so please help me out:confused3

Welcome!!!!

We went last year Dec. 9-13, and I wore capris and t-shirt everyday, light jacket in the evenings with my capris. It was 85 degrees in the afternoons and low sixties, high fifties most evenings. A cold snap did go through after we left where it only got into high fifties in the afternoons a couple of days, so it's hard to predict. We always wear jeans, t-shirts and zip-up hoodies on the plane, and I pack a pair of shorts and capris (how many pairs depends on how long the trip), couple of t's, a sweatshirt and a long-sleeve shirt. Pretty much pack for Canadian summer and fall and you'll be fine.:thumbsup2

November (except around the U.S. Thanksgiving) and early December are great times to go as far as pricing, crowds, and weather are concerned. As well, there are Christmas events and decorations after Thanksgiving.

If you go to www.wunderground.com you can select tripplanner from the tabs at the top, and then type in Orlando and the dates you are travelling. It will give you the average temperature and weather (and more) about Orlando. Good luck!

Here's the link to the actual tripplanner section.

Hey DisneyFreak06, thanks for wunderground link. That will be very helpful in planning what to pack for our December trip. One thing I know for sure is that it will be warmer at WDW than it will be at home. :thumbsup2

I love your sense of humor Ham Ham.... My advice is: Hopes, Dreams, sanity, lots and lots of Pixie dust. Have a great trip!!:tink: :tink:
