What year was your first trip to WDW??

1971 two months after it opened....kinda......my dad took us to the WDW welcome center they had before the park opened. You saw a movie of what it will be, postcards were all drawings etc.

I can't really remember if it was 1977 or 1978 but they were building Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I was chaperoning a group of junior high school students and staying at a Days Inn along 192. There was only the Magic Kingdom but we had a blast. I remember eating in the castle with the other adult chaperones and waterskiing on the lake in front of River Country. My husband couldn't stand the thought of riding in a bus from Maryland with screaming kids so he stayed home that trip.

I didn't get back to Disneyworld until 1990 with DH and our 4 year old but it was truly the best trip ever. The magic never ended and each day was so special! DH isn't addicted like I am but he puts up with it every couple of years!

My first time to Disney was in 1986 when I was about 8 months old. I've been a HUGE Disney fan since then! I've gone about 15 times, including my CP and my junior band trip. I love Disney!
