What would your strategy be?

Next week I'm attending a conference in the parks. We'll be in DL and need to be at the Tomorrowland Theatre by 9, and Saturday we'll be in DCA and need to be at the Hyperion by 9. Each day the conference runs until 5:30 and we get a 1 hour lunch break midday. After 5:30 we're totally free and on our own. We have park hoppers.

With that info, what would your strategy be to maximize your rides? I'm thinking I should be able to do one ride in the morning before the conference. I'd love to sneak one in at lunch but I don't think that's likely. Someone did suggest getting LL and stacking rides through the conference, which is smart.

So yeah. What's the strategy?

Definitely get LL and as soon as REDEEM appears, redeem and screenshot your LL. Choose another LL when it’s time and REDEEM etc. Once your conference is over, start using all the LLs you saved by screenshot.

Yep, to maximize rides with that time window I think you will have to get LL and stack. Specifically you will want to make sure to get the more popular LL rides locked down asap because they will often run out of LLs by the time you are done with the conference. So for instance if you waited to reserve Indy or Haunted Mansion until after 5:30 you will most likely not have those available at all to reserve. So get those big ones first (Indy, HM, Matterhorn, Space Mtn, Guardians after Dark, etc) and then modify them until evening. Less popular ones will usually be available nearly all evening so those ones you can reserve and use almost at the same time later on.

And FYI, how cool is it to have a conference at the parks? Never heard that was a thing. Although maybe it is bad because how can you concentrate on work in the middle of Disneyland?!

I have never heard of someone doing this? Does it even work if you are several hours beyond your return window? Why not just modify the lightening lanes to a time they can actually use?

I wouldn't try to screenshot LLs to use hours after their window has expired. You might occasionally convince a cast member to let you use it, but more likely they will turn you around and tell you that you should have modified it. We've had a few times we missed the window by 5-10 minutes (stuck by parade or something) and we got let in, but not hours later.

Can someone remind me how to link people to me in the app? Since it's a work coherence I'm traveling with friends/colleagues, not family, and I want to make sure we all get LL for the same time.

It sounds like the best LL strategy is to book ASAP, not worrying about the actual time since it's soonest, and then modify for later until I get a time that is either during lunch or after 5:30.

For the morning, with that almost-an-hour, what should I try? I was thinking Fantasyland dark rides, or maybe Star Tours since it's in Tomorrowland. Usually BTMMR or Indy would be my first stop, but BTMMR is closed and Indy can be so unpredictable.

For DC, is RSR usually open at park open, or would I be better if choosing something else to stay my day?

Right?! We're all super excited. It's professional development for theatre educators, focusing on inclusive, accessibility and immersive theatre. It sounds like we're going to get to do a backstage tour as well.

We were in the parks on Monday with a Tiana’s for 1:00p. 2 members of our party used them at 10:00 pm where they were redeemed with no issue.
