What would your 3rd disneyland themepark be?

I don't have many well-planned ideas, but I would like to see a villain-themed park come to fruition. The rides would have to be more high-paced, though, but it would provide the perfect venue for a halloween party.

I'd love to see a new mountain coaster in the form of Bald Mountain/Charnabog. When you go through long tunnels, projections of spirits and dancing demons/devils could be cast upon the walls, and it could close in an artistic "dawn" setting inside of the mountain with Ave Maria playing. To be honest--I'd like to see this in just about any disney park. I don't understand why Fantasia is so often forgotten. Even a dark ride with animatronics depicting scenes from the film would be nice.

The castle/centerpiece could be either a castle ala Tokyo Disney's old Cinderella Mystery Castle Tour--which featured an animatronic Horned King, a Magic Mirror, lots of spooks and awesomeness. Here's the full tour in two youtube videos:

They shut it down in 2006, however, so it would be exclusive.

I would also love to see something done with Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horsemen--the chase sequence in that film was absolutely terrifying. It doesn't necessarily have enough material for a dark ride, however.

I second that! I want a DisneySea over here, and if not that, then the Animal Kingdom. I never thought California Adventure was a great idea seeing that I live in California, and, of course, they are finding out that it was not that great of an idea and they need to change a lot of things! I like many of the rides in there, but I never thought it should be a California theme. There is not too much land over here for developing, so I don't think we could ever have a DisneySea or Animal Kingdom But at one time they were talking about Westcot - the West Coast version of Epcot.

Where would you put it?

I would create a park that incorporated the best ideas the imagineers could never realize and use many of the ideas for the aborted Disney's America park as well as some of the cool ideas considered for another abandoned Disney park concept, Wescot.

Disney in the 90s was considering purchasing Knott's Berry Farm to turn it into Disney's America park which they previously decided not to go through with in the Virginia / West Virginia area. In the end the Knott's family didn't want to sell to the mouse co. and Disney felt Knott's was too far from Anaheim to be a simple transport between the two. They had some neat ideas for Knott's and The Hall of Presidents would have been brought there in a new Liberty Square. Oh well, it's never going to happen now!

Disney's America had some really neat "lands" with an Indian Village and a Civil War area... a celebration of America with some great theming and fun rides sounds like a winning combo.

I saw a map recently, I think for maybe that new garden walk, that showed some land that was labeled "disney's new land" It looked large enough for a park, hopefully not a parking garage though. It was kinda far away from DCA and DL and like totally separate.

I'm totally torn though, Another entrance fee?? I-yayaa! It costs too much now for ticket media for DL and we know that will go up. I just don't know???

I would LOVE something along the lines of EPCOT, not so much the World Showcase (although it is cool....) but more the Walt-inspired strive toward technology, ecology, and imagination. The global impacts we are feeling today are proof that Walt was a visionary WAY ahead of his time.
I would love to see restaurants that serve food grown right on the property, solar panels and wind turbines, a hands-on Imaginarium, and a look into the future delivered with the cheesy optimism only Disney can provide.....
Oh yeah, and some kick-butt rides wouldn't hurt.....

I would love to see a third park like DisneySea but a water park is really something missing at DL resort.

Maybe they could theme it to Disney. Could you imagine rides like crush n gusher or the swim thing at typhoon lagoon when you can swim with sharks?

a villions meal would so need to be in the villions park. me and my dh and ds talk all the time they love the bad guys but just arent enough rides and stuff (so they thought of a lunch or dinner with villons like the princess one but they have to have malifcent

Being in California and still somewhat opposed to the idea of a California-themed park IN California, I will shoot them if they try to put in Disney-Hollywood (formerly Disney-MGM). We people in California do not need theme parks ABOUT California. We need DisneySea or Animal Kingdom, or Westcot, if that is the only choice. But, again, the land to develop out here is minimal, so we don't give them a lot of options for expansion. I think they should rename DCA, and really focus on the Pixar films.

I agree with YOU! I actually think that would be a worse idea than the California-themed park IN California was considered to be when it first opened! DisneySea is about as close to a water park as they should get out here. I think the water park will alienate a lot of guests, and they do NOT need to do that since DCA is struggling as it is! They really need to fully flesh out DCA and develop that park as much as it can be. Six Flags Magic Mountain has its Water Park, as does Knotts, which is close to DL, so let them have that. The reason Disney shines above the others so much is BECAUSE it doesn't fall into that trap of all thrill rides or all water park rides just to amuse teenagers.

Innovations IS in Tomorrowland NOW in the Old Carousel of Progress building.

There is a water park so near Dl, take Ball to Beach and you are there! So I don't think another water Park is needed.
