Astros are in the World Series for the first time ever, how much would you pay to see the game?

A lady here at work and her husband share season tickets to the Astros. They are entitled to two seats to the World Series for game three and four,(and five if necessary). Face value $155. They listed on E-Bay and they sold for $2,500 each for a total of $10,000. Would you pay the price?

Yikes, I would never ever pay. The best seats you can get are in front of your tv!!! Way to go to them for selling them for so much, paid for their season tickets for a long time i'm sure.

I'm a huge baseball fan but would not pay that price for them! Heck, you could buy a car for that price (well....almost)!

I don't think I'd ever pay more than $200 for a ticket to anything (concert, sporting event, etc)

I'd pay about $5.

I'm a Cardinal fan. ;)

I would pay a premium, but not that much!

:rotfl: Tinks!

I'd pay $5.25 (to outbid Tinks) so I could resell them on ebay!

Seriously though.... we are holding World Series tickets for the Cardinals and they are $140 each, and that was tough to swallow. The most I have ever paid is $80 (field box), but I have a cousin who paid $250 a ticket (loge) for last night's game. Personally I don't have the disposable income to drop that kind of $$ for baseball tickets. For an entire season? Maaaaaaaaaybe. One game. Nope.

Maybe the winner is the person that won the Powerball. :confused3

No I wouldn't pay that, much less $100, but good luck to your team anyway.
