What would you pay OOP for Crystal Palace,or Akershus breakfast?

We are going June 22nd thru June 26th. I am doing the QSDP so we don't have any table service credits to use this on. I'll be paying OOP for either Crystal Palace breakfast,or Akershus breakfast. We've never had breakfast at either one of these,but we have been to Akershus for lunch. My question is which one has better food,service,and overall dining experience as this will be our only character meal.

I guess it really depends on which characters you want to see since Akershaus has princesses and Crystal Palace has Pooh characters. We did both on our last trip and will be doing Crystal Palace again on our next one. The characters were equally good at both places, but I thought the food was better at CP. CP has a buffet with many choices. Akershaus was a family style breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes were brought to the table and then there was a small buffet with some pastries and fruit. We got an 8:05 ADR for CP and were able to enter MK before the park was open. We took some neat pics of Main St. and the Castle with basically no one around. Also, CP is a little cheaper but you do get a free 5x7picture of your party and Belle at Akershaus.

Akershus is definitely worth it and my DD 4 and DD 2 have loved it both times we have went. My wife and I like the food there as well.

First I would figure out if the characters matter. If not I personally like Crystal Palace. I like the food better there.

These are the prices shown on All Ears. We have done the Crystal Palace breakfast, and it was wonderful; lots of selection, good food, and the characters were around frequently and very interactive with the kids.

For me, I would look at what characters I wanted. If you want to see princesses or leading ladies- Akershus is the meal for you. IF that doesn't mattter than personally I would choose CP. I love getting into MK early, the food has more variety to choose from. I also am disgusted lately by the prices of Akershus (yes I know you get the photos, but I don't really need or want them every time). It kills me for my fanily of 4 to pay 75 or so for eggs.
