What would you order at Kona for breakfast?

I was looking at the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes. How are they? What would you recommend?

Please don't flame me fellow dissers, but anything other than Tonga Toast. I thought it was too sweet. Everything else is delicious at KC, especially when paired with the Kona Press pot.

TONGA TOAST is one of those meals that is so beloved and has been served at the Poly for so long that it's a crime not to order it if you have never been to Kona before.

I LOVED the macadamia pineapple pancakes. It is a huge portion: several pancakes that are quite big in diameter. Both my friend and I ordered them when we ate there, and neither one of us came even remotely close to finishing them. And the friend has a hearty appetite.

Pancakes are excellent... yummy! My husband and I often split the Big Kahuna.. it has some of everything incluidng eggs, toast, potatoes, french toast, pancake, pineapple. It is a very large portion and just right for the two of us. Of course, we always share a pot of fresh Kona coffee as well!

We LOVE Kona for breakfast.. !!!!

I love the Tonga Toast, my husband really enjoyed the Big Kahuna breakfast and my three boys had no trouble finishing their orders of pancakes. Everything was so good!

The macademia pancakes are awesome. I also loved the Big Samoan (like eggs benedict but with some kind of pulled pork). The meals were huge, we
never managed to finish everything on our plate.

Tonga Toast is a must do for us, even on our short 4 day trip I'm making sure we find our way over to Poly for bfast one day. Yep, very, very sweet. I always wish they'd serve it as a dessert also.

I had the Kahuna platter with the macadamia nut pancakes and loved them so much that the next time I ordered the full order...it was way too rich and too filling to enjoy them so from now on I order the Kahuna platter so I get a taste of them without wanting to fall asleep after

My vote is for the Big Kahuna. The pancakes are beyond great, but I still need some protein with my breakfast.

We think the Tonga Toast is "too much" on its own. So, my husband and I share two breakfasts. He orders the Tonga Toast and I'll order a breakfast with eggs and bacon. Then we split both. That way we both have some protein and avoid that sick feeling you get with just eating Tonga Toast.

I have had the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes there, and they are wonderful as well.
