On my commute home from work yesterday, I was traveling along at my usual 55 mph in a 45 zone. As I came to an on-ramp, I noticed a state trooper that needed to merge. I could not move over as there was a car beside me; if I slowed down or stayed at the same speed, I would impede the trooper's ability to merge. . .so, I speeded up!
I very quickly decided that even if I got pulled over and given a speeding ticket, I was still doing the right thing (not by speeding in the first place, but by doing what I could so the trooper could merge effortlessly).
What would you have done?
