We are staying at Pop from Oct 1st-8th....Free dining. We decided to take a late flight on Sept 30th and stay off site until the morning. I REALLY REALLY wanted to check in early on the 1st to get my rooms requests. However after looking into the price of off site rooms we are debating whether we should just check into POP at 9 pm on Friday to get the extra day of dining. However if we do that we take the chance of not getting any of our requests.

What would you do?

You may not get any of your requests no matter what time you check in. I would pick the plan that works best for you and not worry about your requests. If you get them consider it that some pixie dust was sprinkled on your stay.

I don't usually make any requests for rooms, and I can't say we've ever been disappointed!!!

For one of our December trips, my DD really wanted to stay in the 101 Dalmations section of All Star Movies. So, a few days before our trip, I did fax a request, but I didn't say anything, just in case. We didn't check in til after midnight, and my DD was so excited when she heard the CM say we were in 101 Dalmations!!!

So, I wouldn't be too concerned with the time you're checking in - have a wonderful trip!!!

We've have always gotten our requests because we check in around 7 am... I was also thinking if we didn't like the location we could always request to move the next day....

In the past I arrived a day early and just got a room for one night then early the next morning went to my resort of choice. You wouldn't get the extra meal that way but you would already be on site and close by that morning of official check in

I did this when staying a CBR, we checked in one day early at all stars and the next day went over to our "real reservation"
