okay, the twins are 6 months now and I just realized the wrong time is on their birth certificates. they are listed as being born at 3:26pm, but dh and I both think it was actually 3:56....we were supposed to head to the or at 3 but there was a long delay. I checked the bassinet cards and think that is where the problem lay...we think they were filled out incorrectly. we didn't notice it when we filled out the birth cert. in the hospital because we were both so out of it.

I hate that the incorrect time is on their b.c.s. I know its really no big deal, hey, at least the date is right. don't think there is anything we can do about it now. just curious, though, wwyd?

that happened to us with Cameron but we happened to catch it right after it happened.

They changed it before it went to the office.

I dont think it is a big deal ( except to you, which I understand) but you could call them and ask. Good luck!

My son's doesn't even have the time on it. As far as legalities, it shouldn't make a difference. If it's really bothering you, call the Dept of Records and see what needs to be done to change it. You may not be able to because what is the proof that they were born at 3:56.

30 minutes really isn't a huge time difference but if it bothers you make a phone call & see if it can be changed.
My cousin was born on April 1st but the hospital wrote March 1st on his birth certificate...........no one noticed til later on & no one ever did anything about it....how weird is that??? His drivers license & everything lists 3-1 as his bday.....never made any sense to me why someone didn't change it.

btw my twins are 15 now..........enjoy every moment~it really does go too fast!

I would forget it, it's unimportant. You have a lot more pressing matters to attend to. :teeth: (My twins turn 7 next month :earsgirl: :earsboy: )...

Sam's birth certificate has the wrong address on it. We lived at 284 and they typed 384. The lady at the records office said we sould be charged to have it changed. She also told us it didnt matter as long as the 384 address was not a business, that street number was a parking lot, so I didnt worry about it.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. But like others said, if it bothers you that much, make a call and see what they can do.

Honestly? I would decide I wanted to change it and then procrastinate until they were about 3 and then it would be too late. ;)

30 minutes isn't a biggie and YOU know when they were born so that is all that matters.

Ummm... I'm 4 minutes older than my twin sister and you bet it's a big deal to us. LOL

See what you can do to get it corrected. :)

Get it changed. Our twins were born at 1241 pm and 1243 pm. Birth certificate says so too!
