Right there are a few options coming up for Oct half term in the current offer.

Newport Bay - Admirals Floor 3 nights/4days £860 (40% off)
Cheyenne - 3nights/4days £804 or 4nights/5days £862
Santa Fe -£735 3nights/4 days

BUT flights are not up yet from Easyjet - which means we would get the cheapest seats, but no guarantee when they would go up, and no guarantee they will still do the flights on Monday and Friday (going Monday and staying offsite, then 4 full days in the parks).

I can't imagine we will get a much better deal than those shown? Other airlines etc. are just too expensive. We could possibly do the tunnel as it would be around the same cost as the flights I think (£250 ish).

What would you do?

I think it depends on what kind of hotel you want. But as price is almost same for Cheyenne and Newport Bay, I'd go for NPB.

Have you considered Eurostar? If you phone them, they'll tell when October will be available to book over the phone. They are released earlier by phone than on the web.

forgive me aren't those prices way over the budget you'd set for another trip? personally i think they are all expensive prices for 2 adults and a free child.

Yes - but with a few more months to save. Our real full budget for August was £600 max (hoping to get it under and this would have been at a huge push) so with a little longer to save, an extra £200 would have been do-able, and I would have my payment for exam marking by then. Would much rather get it lower though...!

currently the eurostar is bookable by phone for dates up to the first week of november (only know this as i called them on friday to ask something)

FYI- We paid £828 for the Sequoia Lodge for 3 nights & 4 days, in between Xmas & New Year, which according to the colour coding in the brochure is the most expensive time. It wasn't a Montana Room, but it was main building with lake view. That was with 25%, which was the discount when the prices were released.

That was with just my husband & daughter on the booking. I paid the local hotel tax of 1.65 euros , I think it was that, & bought an annual pass with shareholders discount.
