Ok heres the deal we have 6 travelers going, all adults (3 couples), 4 of which are first timers. Going for 7 Nights. On the MYW meal plan.
My girlfriend and I are the only ones who have been before, so we are going to make ADRs every night for 6.
So far I have the following pretty much set:
night 1 . . . ? ? ? ? ?
night 2 . . . Le Cellier
night 3 . . . Boma
night 4 . . . Biergarten
night 5 . . . ? ? ? ? ?
night 6 . . . Teppan Edo
night 7 . . . Ohanna

Le Cellier and Ohanna are definites. Other than that I am open to any advice. But my main question is do which of the following do you think I should do for night 1 and 5:

a) 1st night CS 5th night Tutto Italia and a TS lunch to use
b) 1st night Grand Floridian Cafe 5th night Tutto Italia
c) 1st night CS 5th night Narcoosee's
d) 1st night CS 5th night CS and 2 TS lunch options to use

Let me know

I'd vote for D! Sometimes we're pooped and it's good to be done with what we "have" to do so we can rest. Another option is booking one breakfast and one lunch! For first timers I would recommend a lunch at either 50's Prime Time or the Sci Fi Cafe - both are really well done!

Since you're staying at POFQ
i would either eat at a DTD Restaurant (Ragland Road
or Wolfgang Pucks Cafe') or
Boatwrights at POR--1st night.
All of these would be easy to get
to and you wouldn't have to go to a park if you
didn't want to and on 5th night Definately TUTTO ITALIA.

Have you made any ADRs yet? Eating at 6 every night is rather ehh ambitious. I took 3 newbies and we ate anywhere from 4 to 9:45 and loved it all. Snacks carried us for the late ressies.

I think the OP meant ressies for 6 people, not 6:00pm.

I would also vote for d) 1st night CS 5th night CS and 2 TS lunch options to use

I think 3 nights in Epcot is a bit much for a 7 day trip, a 4th would be overkill. The first and 5th night can be used for much needed rest! Plan which parks you may be in on certain days and make lunch ressies for TS.

No, he did say 6 people at 6pm. I read it a few times and that's what I got out of it too.

I agree, 6pm is rather early on vacation for dinner for adults. That's a late dinner for us with kids :rotfl: I'd make the ADRs for 7:30 ish

I'd add Tutto Italia and I like the idea of a fun place like 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch. Their lunch menu is different than dinner.

Sci-Fi is well, interesting. We went for the first time over Thanksgiving and my sons loved it, DH and I didn't care for the food at all. It's also really dark in there. Our burgers were overseasoned and very salty. I guess the chef had a heavy hand that day. We'll go back for the kids, but I wouldn't go out of the way to go there. I think adults enjoy the 50's Prime Time more than kids! Plus with all those dinners it's fun to throw in a lunch.

Have you also considered one breakfast buffet? The Tusker House is our new favorite. The selection is HUGE and the food and service was fantasic. DH who's not a breakfast eater loved the selection. Cheese blintz, quiche, carving station, it was just a great spread!

Oh and I'm all for going to dine at DTD! WPE is amazing for a CS credit. You can also make a meal out of those Earl of Sandwiches, they're huge!

I did mean 6 people I plan on eating at different times. Sorry about the confusion the wording in my first post was horrible and after looking back at it I can see where you could read it either way.

I'm scheduling things around Evening EMHs. Thats what my GF and I did last year and we loved it. We stayed in the parks until late and then slept in. We made a few ropedrops but mainly got our quality time in during the EMHs. I'm guessing the June EMHs will be the same day of the week for '09 as they were in '08 (atleast thats all I can assume for now) so here is a little more in depth schedule:

Sat: Arrive go to MK (eat?)
Sun: MK EMH & Wishes (Le Cellier)
Mon: AK EMH (Boma)
Tues: Epcot EMH (Tutto Italia) I changed this one
Wed: DHWS EMH (eat?)
Thurs: Epcot EMH & Illum (Teppan Edo)
Fri: MK EMH (O'Hana)

We will probably take breaks from around 2-3 in the afternoon until dinner, so I figure starting off in Epcot for a good meal wouldn't be a big deal before going to MK for 5 hours. Right now I like the idea of leaving both blank but am leaning towards making reservations on every night (hear me out before you flame) and then cancelling the ones I don't want. I honestly think that my crowd will end up using each ADR regardless. IM NOT SUGGESTING GETTING ADRS JUST FOR MY CONVINIENCE EVEN THOUGH I DON'T INTEND TO USE THEM. That being said I'm thinking Narcoosee's for Wed. then we could just take the bus from the GF to DHWS after dinner.

Kona is my husbands and my favorite restaurant for the food....plus you can hit the beach and watch fireworks from poly beach after dinner.
We also always do Mama melrose for their homemade sangria...it's their own recipe and the other restaurants DO NOT make the same kind...it's our favorite drink...they gave us the recipe and I have it in my fridge right now in anticipation of our trip in 9 days!!
For sure Kona anyhow....it's great food.

thanks. I actually ate at both Kona and Mama Ms last year. I really liked both of them alot. I'm just trying to find some new places that I haven't tried yet, but I completely agree they are both quality restaurants.
