i currently have a two bedroom villa at BC during spring break '07 booked.

i just found out that we cant go if our daughter's cheerleading team gets an invite to the world championships at disney's sports comlex April 21-22 2007. i wont get that special notice until the first of March! that puts me less than 30 days from my arrival. i would have to move the points into holding and possibly not be able to rent something else on that short notice. should i rent out the two bedroom and hope to get a one bedroom villa (not as many guests going in April) with only 5-6 weeks notice? or should i rent the two bedroom villa and book a room at the beach club now (not villas) and cancel if her team doesnt get an invite?

why not just cancel it and book a 1-bedroom and bank the rest of your points.

now if you need to rent it. I don't think spring break is sold out. find out about your week by calling MS and ask.

why not cancel NOW. Yes I know you aren't sure - but until you are sure. I would go ahead and cancel now.

remember you are going to be a member for lots of years hopefully. just because your plans didn't work this year - doesn't mean that next year they won't.

you don't want to lose ANY points if you can help it.

since you have lots of time between now and April you can definitely rent your points (not reservations) if you want too.

I would get a studio at BCV for April NOW. Studio generally rent faster & quicker than 1-bedroom if you need to get rid of it.

a studio is like BC room. a 1-bedroom is alot better but also more expensive.
