What Would You Do With The Old People Mover/Rocket Rods Track?

Ive been curios what people think should be done with the old tracks. Also explain how you would work the queue and releive the entrance congestion :

Sorry, but that gave me a good chuckle.

I liked the People Mover (or TTA in WDW) and I wouldn't mind if they brought it back but just by itself (not in use) it's hideous!

I would bring in a wrecking ball and destroy the entire track system. Then I would rebuild new tracks as this is the only way any progress can be made on this attraction as the existing track system is not usable any longer. If there was a quick and simple answer to bringing back the PM they would do it but it will require a complete rebuild from scratch.

The que line can go right at the base of the station where it used to be and the PM could be a great vehicle for showcasing new Disney films as they did with TRON. They could have a new feature exhibit every year with a new film to showcase.

You gave me an idea. Since they would be rebuilding the tracks they could build both attractions and have the tracks run next to each other so while on the PM the RR cars would zip by!

Gosh I wish I were in charge, Tomorrowland would be my big mission... even over all the things they will be doing at DCA over the next four years.

If a few have to lose limbs so I can have the PM and RR back in action I say it is worth the sacrafice! Seriously, they could solve any and all of the safety issues with the redesign and now that they know what to avoid from past experiences there is no reason why any new attraction can't be as safe as possible.

When you lose a limb on a theme park ride it always sneaks up on you, nobody ever sees that one coming.

I don't know how a new design would look, but if the vehicles were to look the same and they were next to each other, can I say shockguards?

I loved the idea of the rocket rods PM combo, but i dont think there would be room to combine the tracks. Maybe If they Had Sleeker, more futuristic cars like the people mover, but combined in a train like combo such as the PM, and different parts of the track would feature blast offs (beggining etc) but then slow down to view the rides. If they could perfect it and make it more of a monorail type ride, without wheels, than there wouldnt be so many malfunctionings, and the ride would speed up with lim launch or something that doesnt involve the vehicles, but is strictily on the track, it would perform roght and better!
