ok im putting my plans into your hands

i'm not sure which way im going to go but i will have either an escape wedding at sea breeze point or swan wedding but either way i'm going to have think of something for all 15 of us to do after the wedding.

my family and boyfriends family are all conservative eaters some of which have an aversion to fish, some an aversion to most vegetables and someone who will eat baked beans with almost everyone of his meals. not to mention the very difficult guest who is gluten wheat and dairy intolerant (we can always order her a plain salad)

i would like something special and would like to wear my dress for as long as possible( i am willing to change for the evening if going into the parks)

so my question is with that budget what would you do with it?

oh and about 60% of them have never been to disney if that has any bearing

Did you want a fun meal?

I know some girls that have gone the Chef Mickey's for a meal. You can get your photos with Mickey there in your dress and I believe it is a buffet great for picky eaters.

Or do you want posh?

i think it would be fun as a buffet but im not sure the mothers would be too impressed at the buffet aspect.it would be funny to see mother in laws face- i may just do it for kicks!:rotfl2:

i don't really want really posh because it going to be quite relaxed and it just wouldn't suit us so something like victoria and alberts is out of the question

You need to look at all the places you can eat in the resorts so you can keep your dress on. My TR has some photos of the different places to eat as we did quite a few group meals. I would say they were mostly fun places.

i know i am asking you to get in the minds of us and our families which is difficult but if you had $2,000 for 15 people what would you do with it?

Top of my head, I would go to O'hana's at the poly, so I could keep my dress on. And then watch the fireworks from the beach, perhaps book a photographer, so I could have fireworks photos without having a dessert party.

Or book a fireworks cruise.

You could do what we did - Dinner at Narcoossee's and a Grand 1 fireworks cruise. The menu they gave us had a chicken, a fish and a beef entree and they made something special for my vegan friend which she thought was fantastic - but your friend with the dairy and wheat allergy could probably order off the menu and just skip the bread. We were just at $2k for all of this with 19ppl, so with 4 less for dinner, you'd easily be under $2k and it was a very memorable event. I think everyone in our group was impressed, so I'd think yours would be too.

You could also try any of the other restaurants on the Monorail and then still do a fireworks cruise, just have to get everyone over to the GF if you want the Grand 1.
