What would you do?? Travelocicty or Hold out for FD?

Hello,

I am having a dilemma here...I am currently booked at AOA for November 11th thru 16th and I am hoping that the free dining will come out for those dates..I know that if it does I will have decide which hotel to switch to..I am thinking ASMusic. I can fully afford the vacation either way..but the free dining is just smarter and I want to save as much money as possible...I came across a Travelocity code today which would bring my package down if I stay at ASM to only $1445 where as right now..I am at $1828. So I am wondering should I cancel through Disney and then book through Travelocity? I don't have it all right now..so book before canceling..or would you leave it as is and just hope that the free dining comes out for that time? If i went with the $1445 then I could apply $383 towards our dining expenses...what do you think?????

We stayed at AOA last year using free dining and after I booked everything and looked at the numbers it actually cost us $1000 using the free dining instead of a room discount. And we eat alot of CS meals and a few character meals so there is NO WAY we spent $1000! So def check all your numbers first cause IMHO free dining is not such a great deal at AOA!

This doesn't guarantee anything, but the 'dining plan free' PIN covers 11/11-11/23. Doesn't mean there'll be a general public offer.

I think the Travelocity room offer may be refundable, but check it out.

We booked our June room only through Orbitz as the discount at POFQ was cheaper than Disney and they had standard rooms, and it is all 100% refundable up until five days prior to arrival. so if it was me, I would book it!

When you book a room through Orbtiz or Travelocity do you get a Disney confirmation number which you can then call Disney and use to add requests and Magical Express? Do you do tickets through these other sites as well??
